There is an icon on the iPhone next to the battery icon that I've never seen before and it looks like a phone over a keyboard. Any clue what it is?

She has a jailbroke old iPhone now and she is with tmobile. My buddy figured out how to jailbreak his new 3g iPhone. If I buy her a new 3g and have him jailbreak it can she just take the sim card out of her current iPhone and put it in the jailbroke 3g?

Ok. I just restored my iphone 3G since i was having some problems and backed it up but all of my songs and apps are not on my phone any more. Does anyone know how to get them back on because i dont want to pay for them again and i dont even remember half of them. Thx. PLEASE HELP!!

I'm planning on getting the iphone 3G/3GS unlocked and i'm with 3 at the moment i have an unlimited usage plan and i was wondering if this would work with the iphone for example Applications, Safari, Maps etc?

My iPhone earphones w/mic get damaged pretty easily for some reason. I think I take care of it but every other month, I have to buy a new pair which can get pretty pricey. Any good alternative brand earphones w/mic recommendations?

My friend used her username and password to download my first app on my iPhone. Now, when I try to download more apps, it does not give me a choice of which username I would like to use. It only asks for her password. How do I clear her username from. My iPhone?

I want to start programming, and I want to jump on the iphone/touch marked, but I don't know which books I should buy. I am looking for a book that's easy to learn from and covers everything. I am new to the whole programming thing, so a book that explains the basics would be fine.

I'm going to get an iPhone - I just haven't decided which carrier to go through yet. I'm heavily leaing towards Virgin at the moment; how is their coverage and customer service? They seem a lot cheaper than everyone else in terms of what comes out of the plan.

I have edited an mp3 to use as a ringtone and have it uploaded on a webpage to access from Safari on my iPhone. I can access the mp3 and play it, but it opens in quicktime and I can find no way to save it from there. Any suggestions?

I am going to put a new stereo in my 2005 f150, mostly because I want to be able to listen to my iphone while I drive. I would also like to use the bluetooth in the phone so that I can take calls. I would really appreciate some advice on this one, I am not sure which of the stereos I have looked at would work with my phone. Thanks.
